"There must be a place, under the sun, where hearts of olden glory grow young." (Runrig - Hearts of Olden Glory)
I took Phaolin along the coastal path this morning. We had a lovely walk, met loads of other people and dogs out enjoying the sunshine. Intended going for an hour or so, got back after three! I think it may have been a lsighly longer walk than initially anticipated, but it made us both very happy.
I didn't take any pics on our walk this morning so have this one taken yesterday in the garden, when Phaolin was playing in the sunshine. And the old man was just pottering around being the grand old man of the house, that he is!
I spent this afternoon crocheting and dozing in front of an old recorded episode of Morse, while himself listened to the football. It's gone cloudy and actually quite cool here this afternoon so there was no incentive to sit outside at all.
Tomorrow it's day too of 'Wonderwool' so I am off to Builth Wells with a few friends from the knitting circle for what will hopefully be an interesting day of yarn admiring and more. Hopefully not too much yarn buying but I know I won't be able to resist something. *sigh*
The Calico blanket is almost done but I am tiring of it so I think I'm going to start a smallish ripple in the Rowan handknit cotton tonight. It will satisfy my need to work in bright colours after the pastelliness of the Calico.
Well it's almost time for Doctor Who so I am going to pour a drink of some kind and settle down with some yarn and the TV for an hour or so. Love O. xxxxxx
